Words carry great power, along with our choice of how and when to use them. This concert explores the ideas of expression, authenticity, and honesty in a musical context. We will be joined by pianist and composer Nasir Scott, who writes Romantic-inspired music with a twenty-first century spin. The concert will feature two world premieres, one by Kevin Crouch and another by Nasir Scott, along with a variety of classical, jazz, and electronic works. We are happy to return to the amazing 2640 Space for this concert. The concert starts at 7pm preceded by a pre-concert talk with artistic director Kevin Crouch at 6:30pm. Doors open at 6:15pm.
Tickets start at $35 for general admission. Patrons may purchase a ticket which includes a post-concert reception with two drink tickets and food for $45. Student tickets are available for $20 ($30 with reception) with a valid student ID.
